WE ARE ON THE FRONTLINES

Discipleship Hour

Join us every Sunday from 9:15 – 10:15 in the classrooms under the Main Sanctuary!
We are currently offering the following class opportunities:

METHODS OF BIBLE STUDY: GOSPEL OF MARK
This class teaches how to study the Bible and appropriate it into his or her life using the inductive Bible study method. Using the Gospel of Mark the student will develop the two-fold skills of 1) reading the Bible in context and 2) reading it with the eyes of a Christian. Pastor Chris Hendrickson will be teaching this course in Room 1G Downstairs. [This course will also be offered on Monday nights at 6:30 PM]

SOLID FOOD DISCIPLESHIP: A STUDY IN GENESIS 22-27
A study of Genesis which focuses on the God of creation and the maturing of believers. It is a continuation of the study of Genesis and is taught by Kris W. Hamilton. Room 1E Downstairs

THE MISSED MISSION OF THE GREAT COMMISSION, CONTINUED
A continuation of the study of Pastor George Eberly’s book. The missed mission is discipleship, or as Jesus said, “teaching them to observe all I have commanded you,” (Matthew 28:20) The book ultimately deals with the question: “Why aren’t Christians more like Jesus?” It also shows how Christians can become like Jesus. Taught by Rick Davis. Room 1D Downstairs

LIFE RECOVERY GROUP
Help for all addictions is found in the Bible, and this group helps people with addictions discover that truth and the power of the Holy Spirit to overcome one’s addiction. This group is offered Tuesday Evening as well as during the Discipleship Hour. Taught by Joseph and Linda Adler. Meets in the Glass Chapel

SERMON DISCUSSION
A discussion of the previous week’s sermon. Facilitated by Glenn Saavedra. Room 1F Downstairs
